Rain reigns at Delaware International Speedway

DELMAR – Just as the cars were about to take to the track for hot laps, rain arrived Saturday night, forcing cancellation of racing action at Delaware International Speedway.

The evening was sponsored by The Metal Shop and they treated fans to a monster truck car crushing show following the announcement that the oval track racing had been cancelled.

This Saturday night will feature the NAPA Big Block Modifieds, the S.R. Pete & Son Late Models, the AC Delco PSC Modifieds, the Crate Models and the Mod Lites plus the Big Block feature winner will take on the Late Model feature winner in a five lap Shootout.

Gates open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 7 p.m.
