Southern Delaware School of the Arts to host ‘Tea and Tour’

SELBYVILLE – Southern Delaware School of the Arts in Selbyville will host a special “Tea and Tour” event on Thursday, Jan. 7 to showcase the school and its programs to parents of prospective students for 2016-2017.

The event will run from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

SDSA administrators will open with a brief presentation about the school and explain the school choice application process for 2016-2017.

SDSA students will then lead group tours of the school. Following the tours, tea and snacks will be served in the cafeteria and teachers and administrators will be available to answer questions from parents.

The SDSA jazz band will perform at the event and student work will be on display throughout the school.

The school choice application deadline is Jan. 13, 2016.

Parents must submit a Delaware Standard Application for Educational Options, along with an Indian River School District Choice Student Supplemental Information Form. Application forms are available at irsd.net.
