Seaford High School senior Gates Millennium honoree

SEAFORD – Seaford High School is beaming with pride and proud to announce that senior Richard Lamontagne is one of the 1,000 Gates Millennium Scholars for the Class of 2015.

Richard Lamontagne, a Seaford High School senior, is one of the 1,000 Gates Millennium Scholars for the Class of 2015.

Richard was selected for this prestigious award from over 57,000 applicants, according to Seaford School District spokeswoman Dr. Stephanie Smith.

He is the first student from Seaford High School to ever receive this award.

This prestigious award will cover all unmet needs for Richard’s undergraduate and graduate studies.

“Richard is to be commended on his strong leadership, community service and academic achievements and is recognized as a Leader for America’s Future,” said Dr. Smith.
