Price is right for Georgetown Boys & Girls Club leadership role

GEORGETOWN – The Georgetown Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware has announced new leadership for its club, with the election of Linda Price of Georgetown as its Board Chair.

Ms. Price takes the reins from Ed Lester, who served as Board Chair for more than six years.

Georgetown resident Linda Price is the newly-elected Board Chair for the Georgetown Boys & Girls Club.

The Georgetown Boys & Girls Club is very thankful for Ed’s leadership and looks forward to continued success with Ms. Price.

Ms. Price has been in the banking industry for 30 years and is currently employed as the Branch Manager of Fulton Bank’s Georgetown Office.

She is extremely active in the broader Georgetown community, having served as Secretary of the Georgetown Chamber Board and Economic Development Council and Past President and Board member of the Georgetown Millsboro Rotary Club.

The Georgetown Boys & Girls Club is led by Renee Hickman, Unit Director, and is located on Race Street in Georgetown.

The Georgetown Club serves over 80 kids each day and is part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware, which serves over 2,500 kids daily at its 42 locations statewide.
