IRHS Band Boosters holding ‘Gal-entine’s Day’ at Cripple Creek CC

DAGSBORO – Indian River High School Band Boosters are holding a fundraising activity that caters exclusively to the ladies.

Saturday, Feb. 10 is the date for ‘Gal-entine’s Day’ – a twist on Valentine’s Day where gals have a chance to pamper themselves.

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cripple Creek Country Club near Dagsboro. It will feature complimentary make-overs and shopping opportunities.

There is free admission; donations are welcome. All money raised will go directly to support all IRHS music students, said IRHS Band Booster president Lisa Bird.

There will be complimentary make-overs provided by Alison Walt, independent beauty consultant and her Mary Kay team, and make-up advice.

Shopping opportunities include Mary Kay, LuLu Roe fashion featuring a variety of dresses, tops, cover-ups and leggings, and Chloe & Isabel jewelry.

There will be a cash bar and light fare offered to those in attendance.
