Indian River continuing with Peachjar electronic flier system

Sussex County Post

SELBYVILLE – For the second consecutive year, the Indian River School District will utilize the Peachjar electronic flier management system for promotional literature.

Paper fliers that were previously sent home or posted in schools are now e-mailed directly to parents. These e-fliers can also be viewed by clicking on the Peachjar button on each school’s website home page or on the blue E-Fliers button on the district home page:

No action is required by parents.

Parents recently received a welcome email from the Peachjar service provider that included a user name and password. This will give parents the opportunity to manage their accounts and flier delivery preferences. This system will be used exclusively for distribution of school-approved flyers. E-mail addresses will not be shared or used for any other purpose.

The Indian River School District cooperates with community groups and organizations that sponsor activities of an educational/enrichment nature for students. The district will distribute approved materials from these organizations electronically via Peachjar.

To request flier approval, organizations must visit, register as an enrichment provider and upload fliers for approval. Fliers will be then submitted to the district office.

Staff will review the material and approve or deny based on district policy. Organizations will incur a small fee for utilizing this service.

Once approved, fliers will be e-mailed to parents and posted online. Paper fliers from outside organizations are no longer distributed in schools.

To ensure smooth delivery of e-fliers, parents are encouraged to add to their email contacts. They should also click “always display images” so school fliers can be viewed immediately.
