Financial experts to reveal secrets to securing college funding

GEORGETOWN – Indian River School District is partnering with $tand By Me to host a free scholarship workshop on Tuesday, Oct. 20 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Sussex Central High School.

The workshop is aimed at helping high school students and their families understand the resources available to identify scholarships and to share essential tips on how to write effective essays.

There will also be a scholarship fair before and after the workshop to meet local colleges and organizations that will be offering scholarship opportunities to students this year. This is a unique opportunity to meet the funders and ask important questions before submitting scholarship applications.

Visit the Indian River School District website at irsd.net to download an informational flyer and register for this event.
