Two masseuses jailed on prostitution charges

SEAFORD – Delaware State Police detectives on Friday arrested two women at a Seaford area massage parlor after receiving citizen complaints of prostitution activity occurring at a massage parlor.

On Oct 2, detectives conducted an investigation into possible prostitution activity occurring at the Peaceful Wellness Spa at 916 Middleford Road, said state police spokesman Cpl. Jeffrey Hale.

Two undercover troopers respond to the spa where they both asked for a massage. While performing the massages, two masseuses, later identified as Bo Nan Xu, 55, and Huiping Liu, 52, both of Seaford, offered to perform a sexual act on the troopers in exchange for cash.

The troopers refused the proposition and left the establishment, Cpl. Hale said.

Both women arrested without incident. They were each charged with prostitution and arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 3.

Ms. Xu and Ms. Liu were committed to the Delores Baylor Correctional Institution for lack of $150 cash bail each.
