Suspects sought in Seaford shootings

SEAFORD – Suspects are being sought in apartment parking lot shootings Monday night that sent to people to the hospital.

According to Seaford Police Department spokesman Capt. Gary Flood, an altercation between unknown suspects and the victim in the parking lot of the Meadowbridge Apartment Complex escalated into gunfire.

A 27-year-old Wilmington man was shot twice in the legs. As a 45-year-old woman was shot in face after she exited her apartment and went outside, police said. She was initially taken to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital and transferred to Christiana Hospital with non-life threatening facial injuries.

The male shooting victim was treated and injuries at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital and released.

The area was checked by Seaford officers along with officers from Delaware State Police and Laurel Police Department.
