Suspects sought in attempted robbery

SEAFORD – City of Seaford police are seeking four male suspects wanted in the attempted robbery of the Uncle Willies convenience store on Stein Highway.

The attempted robbery occurred shortly after midnight – about 12:05 a.m., Saturday, April 25 – when four masked males entered the store and one displayed a silver handgun, Seaford Police Department spokesman Lt. Richard Jamison said.

The store employee fled to the back of the store.

Unable to obtain any money from the cash register, the four suspects fled in an unknown direction, Lt. Jamison said.

The suspects were wearing dark colored sweatshirts, masked and gloves. No further description could be provided.’
