Suspect sought in Millsboro Rite Aid robbery

MILLSBORO – Delaware State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspect wanted in connection with the robbery of a convenience store.

The incident occurred Thursday, April 5 at approximately 9 p.m. at the Rite Aid store located at 24892 John J. Williams Highway.

Investigation by state police revealed that the suspect, identified as 39-year-old Christopher Radcliffe of Millsboro, entered the business, approached the clerk and demanded money, according to state police spokeswoman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe.

The clerk complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash and the robber fled the business.  The store clerk was not injured.

Troopers have been unable to locate Radcliffe, who currently has active warrants for robbery first degree and unrelated charges including unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and violation of probation.
