State troopers probing Ocean View package store robbery

OCEAN VIEW – Delaware State Police are investigating the robbery of Hickman’s Package Store that occurred late Monday evening.

The robbery occurred around 10:10 p.m. June 20 when two male suspects – at least one armed with a handgun – entered the package store located at 30447 Cedar Neck Road, according to state police spokesman Cpl. Gary Fournier.

The suspects approached a female employee at the counter and demanded cash.

The clerk complied. The suspects fled the business with an unknown amount of cash in an unknown direction.

The employee was uninjured in this incident.

The suspects are described as white males, 5-8 to 5-10 tall, wearing all dark colored clothing and dark colored masks over their faces.
