Seaford Rite Aid: Armed robbery suspect sought


SEAFORD – Seaford city police are seeking to locate the white male suspect wanted in connection with the armed robbery at the Rite Aid on Stein Highway in Seaford.

The robbery occurred Thursday, Jan. 25 at about 6:30 p.m.

According to Seaford Police Department spokesman Lt. Richard Jamison, the suspect approached a store clerk, displayed a silver handgun and demanded money.  The suspect fled the store on foot after obtaining an undisclosed amount of money.

The Delaware State Police K-9 Unit assisted in attempts to locate the suspect but was unsuccessful.

Suspect description is a white male in his late 30s to early 40s. He was wearing a blue sweatshirt with writing on the front, blue jeans and a black mask at the time of the robbery, police said.
