Seaford: Arrests made in prostitution investigation

SEAFORD – City of Seaford police on Thursday arrested several persons in an undercover prostitution operation.

One of the arrest subjects, Osmin Garcia, solicited the undercover female officer for sex while his two children were in the backseat of his vehicle, Seaford Police Department spokesman Cpl. Eric Chambers said.

Seaford Police Department was assisted by Delaware State Police Troop 5 P.A.C.E. Unit and the United States Department of Homeland Security.

Arrested were:

  • Geri Rementer, 45, of Blades, charged with Prostitution, Loitering to Engage in Prostitution, Possession of Drug paraphernalia (2 counts); bail was $750 Unsecured;
  • John Whaley, 41, of Seaford, charged with Patronizing a Prostitute, Loitering to Engage in Prostitution; bail was $300 Unsecured;
  • Jermaine Piper, 42, of, Lincoln, charged with Patronizing a Prostitute, Loitering to Engage in Prostitution; bail: $300.00 Unsecured;
  • Robert Battle, 60, of Seaford, charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; he was issued a summons, but was committed to the Department of Corrections in lieu of $4,000 secured bail for Failure to Appear Capias out of Sussex CCP;
  • Joselito Lopez-De-Leon, 33, of Blades, charged with Patronizing a Prostitute, Patronizing a Prostitute, Driving Without a Valid License; bail was $225 Unsecured;
  • Ever Robles-Bravo, 34, of Blades, charged with Patronizing a Prostitute, Loitering to Engage in Prostitution; Bail: was $125 Unsecured Bail;
  • Osmin Garcia, 29, of Seaford, charged with Patronizing a Prostitute, Loitering to Engage in Prostitution, Endangering the Welfare of a Child (2 counts), Driving Without a Valid License; bail was $900 Unsecured;
  • Dixon Jimenez-Ramirez, 22, of Seaford, charged with Patronizing a Prostitute, Loitering to Engage in Prostitution, Driving Without a Valid License; bail was $210 Unsecured;
  • Julian Alvares, 38, of Seaford, charged with Patronizing a Prostitute, Loitering to Engage in Prostitution; bail was $125 Unsecured.
