Public’s help sought in identifying robbery suspect

MILTON – Delaware State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in attempting to identify the suspect involved in Thursday night’s robbery of a Valero Gas Station in Milton.

The incident occurred around 7:42 p.m. Dec. 7 at the business located at 25576 Deep Branch Road, Delaware State Police Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe said.

State police investigation revealed as a male subject armed with a handgun entered the gas station and demanded cash from the register. The clerk complied, and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash in an unknown direction. The clerk was not injured.

The suspect is a white male, thin build, approximately 5-6 to 5-8 tall, wearing a dark-colored hooded sweat shirt, camouflage face mask, blue jeans and dark colored sneakers. He was armed with a handgun.
