Parents sought whose children attended Handy’s Little Disciples Daycare in Millsboro

MILLSBORO – Delaware State Police Homicide Unit detectives are continuing the investigation into the death of a 10-month old infant that occurred at a Millsboro daycare last January.

Valorie Handy, 51, of Millsboro, was indicted July 27, 2015 on one charge of murder by abuse or neglect first degree in the death of the baby who was in her care at the daycare in January 2015.

The child’s death was ruled a homicide and the investigation by the homicide unit detectives is ongoing, state police spokesman Sgt. Richard Bratz said.

The Attorney General’s Office working with the Delaware State Police Homicide Unit would like to speak with the parents or guardians of any children who have ever attended this day care.
