Milton: One man hospitalized after shooting

MILTON – Delaware State Police report one person was shot Monday night during an incident in the Milton area.

The shooting occurred around 10:33 p.m. in the 12000 block of Reynolds Road, state police spokesman Sgt. Richard Bratz said.

Preliminary investigation revealed a 21-year-old man was shot in the upper torso. He was taken by a privately-owned vehicle to the Milton Fire Department and transported to the hospital by EMS. He was admitted in stable condition, said Sgt. Bratz.

State troopers learned that several subjects arrived at the Reynolds Road address to fight another subject when an unknown male subject fired multiple shots. One of the shots struck the victim once in the upper torso, Sgt. Bratz said.

No other individuals were injured in this incident.
