Millsboro: Frankford man arrested on drug charges

MILLSBORO – Town of Millsboro police arrested a Frankford man on several drug charges Wednesday following a warrant service.

Desmone Justice was arrested Oct. 4 near the Old Landing Apartments.

Justice, who was known to have active warrants for his arrest issued by the Delaware State Police, was observed by a Millsboro police officer entering a vehicle near the apartments. He was taken into custody without incident, said Millsboro Police Department spokesman Cpl. David Moyer.

After an odor of marijuana was detected, a search of Justice revealed 12.2 grams of marijuana in his possession.

In a subsequent search of Justice’s vehicle, police found 45 bags of heroin, 17.8 grams of cocaine, two Suboxone films, assorted drug paraphernalia and $18,196 in suspect drug proceeds, Cpl. Moyer said.

Justice was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin, Possession with the intent to deliver Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

He was arraigned and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $20,501 cash only bond, Cpl. Moyer said.

Justice was also processed and arraigned on his outstanding warrants issued by Delaware State Police and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $3,100 secured bond.
