Masked suspects sought in home invasion

BRIDGEVILLE – Delaware State Police are on the lookout for three suspects wanted in a home invasion Thursday afternoon near Bridgeville.

The masked suspects knocked on the door and forcibly entered a residence in Walkers Meadows Development, forced a 56-year-old woman and her two young grandchildren into a bathroom and tied up the woman, state police spokesman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe said.

The suspects ransacked the residence, removed an undisclosed amount of cash and a cell phone prior to fleeing the scene in a gray or silver colored Lexus cross-over type SUV with an unknown New York registration.

No injuries were reported in this incident, which occurred around 1:33 p.m. Sept. 13 at the residence in the 20000 block of Millstone Lane.

The suspects are generally described as three males.
