SEAFORD – City of Seaford report the arrest of the suspect sought in Thursday morning’s robbery of the Stein Highway M & T Bank.
Dustin Bailey 28, of Seaford, was arrested Thursday night.
Detectives also linked Mr. Bailey to another M & T Bank robbery on June 30 in which he was a co-conspirator, according to Seaford Police Department spokesman Capt. Gary Flood.
Mr. Bailey was charged with robbery first degree, possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony, possession of a weapon by a person prohibited, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, robbery second degree and conspiracy second degree.
He was committed to the Department of Corrections in lieu of $71,000 pending a court appearance at a later date, Capt. Flood said.
The robbery on Aug. 6 occurred just before 10 a.m. when a man gave a note to a teller, demanding money. The note indicated he had a weapon.
The robber fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
