Loud music: Milton man jailed after pointing handgun at neighbor

HARBESON – Delaware State Police arrested a Milton man police say was intoxicated and pointed a handgun at a neighbor during dispute over loud music.

Troopers charged Wesley J. Fagg, 32, of Milton, with multiple weapons related offenses stemming from the incident that occurred just before 11 p.m., Friday, Aug. 31 at a residence in the 18000 block of Indian Mission Road, Delaware state Police spokesman Master Cpl. Michael Austin said.

Investigation revealed as a male resident was speaking with two females about loud music from a vehicle parked in the driveway, Fagg approached and pointed a handgun at him, allegedly stating, “We aren’t doing this tonight,” Cpl. Austin said.

Troopers took Fagg into custody at the residence without incident. Fagg was found to be in possession of a Springfield XD 45 handgun. The weapon was not loaded, Cpl. Austin said.

Fagg was charged with one count each of felony Aggravated Menacing, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony and Possession of a Firearm while Intoxicated.

Fagg was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 3 and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of $13,000 secured bail.
