Hispanic suspects sought in armed robbery in mobile home park

BRIDGEVILLE – Delaware State Police are seeking two Hispanic suspects wanted in the armed robbery of a woman outside her residence at the Walkers Mill Mobile Home Park Thursday night.

At about 9:44 p.m., Jan. 11, a 30-year-old woman and her three children pulled into the driveway when a vehicle pulled in behind them, state police spokesman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe said.

Two suspects armed with handguns approached each side the vehicle, opened the doors and demanded money.

The suspect at the driver’s side door held a gun to the woman as he rifled through her pockets, according to state police investigation.

After grabbing an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspects fled in the vehicle behind the woman’s car.

The suspect vehicle description is a four door, dark in color passenger vehicle.

One suspect is described as a Hispanic male, in his upper 20’s, tall with an average build and darker complexion.  He had curly hair and hair on his chin that was approximately one inch in length. He was wearing mechanic style coveralls and a jacket with a hood that was pulled up over his head.

The second Hispanic male suspect was described as being in his mid 20’s, tall with a slightly heavy build.  He was also wearing a jacket with the hood pulled up over his head.

The victim and her three children were not harmed.
