Greenwood: Suspect sought in armed robbery

GREENWOOD – Delaware State Police are seeking the suspect wanted in the armed robbery of a Farmington man Wednesday night near Greenwood.

The incident occurred at about 11:05 p.m. Aug. 22 at Atlantic Aluminum on  Nanticoke Business Park Drive, state police spokeswoman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe said.

State police investigation determined the black male suspect approached a 21-year-old man unloading a forklift, display a handgun and demanded the man’s wallet.

The suspect fled on foot with the wallet. The victim was not injured, Cpl. Jaffe said.

The suspect description is a black male, 5-10 to 5-11 tall, weighing 175 to 200 pounds. He was wearing dark colored pants and a hooded sweatshirt, Cpl. Jaffe said..
