State police had issued the Gold Alert for  the 24-year-old Bridgeville man who had not been heard from as of Friday, Nov. 27.

Troopers had been unable to make contact with Mr. Monzo II and there was“a real concern for his safety and welfare,” according to state police spokesman Cpl. Gary Fournier.

Cpl. Fournier said there also was an active warrant for Mr. Monzo’s arrest stemming from a burglary and theft of a firearm that occurred Monday, Nov. 30 from his parents’ residence in the 7000 block of Ray Road, Bridgeville.
