Following extradition, Selbyville man charged in Swann Keys burglaries

SELBYVILLE – Delaware State Police on Wednesday formally charged 25-year-old William A. Wagner of Selbyville man in connection with burglaries in Swann Keys development following extradition from Maryland.

Wagner, extradited to Delaware from Ocean City, Md., Jan. 17, was charged with 17 counts of burglary third degree, 17 counts of criminal mischief, 10 counts of theft, seven counts of felony theft, and 12 counts of possession of burglary tools, state police spokesman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe said.

Wagner was arraigned out of Justice of the Peace Court No. 3 and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $79,500 cash-only bond.

State police investigation linked Wagner to a series of burglaries in the Swann Keys development from Nov. 6, 2017 to Jan. 6, 2018.
