Fire in Milton under investigation

MILTON – The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s office are investigating a house fire that occurred early Thursday morning in Milton.

Chief Deputy State Fire Marshal Harry R. Miller said the blaze reported at 4:46 a.m., July 5. The location of the fire is 28645 Fisher Road, Milton, according to Milton Fire Company’s live run log.

Firefighters from Lewes, with assistance from Milton and Rehoboth Beach, responded. Fire was showing from the structure upon the arrival of firefighters, Mr. Miller said.

No injuries were reported.

Mr. Miller said the joint investigation is being conducted by The State Fire Marshal’s Office and Delaware State Police. Preliminary investigation reveals there is no suspicious activity.
