Female suspect sought in Long Neck Dunkin Donuts robbery

LONG NECK – Delaware State Police are seeking a white female suspect in their investigation an early morning robbery of a Long Neck area Dunkin’ Donuts.

State police spokesman Cpl. Gary Fournier said the robbery occurred approximately 5:15 a.m., Friday at the Dunkin’ Donuts located on John J. Williams Highway when a woman entered the business and confronted a female employee behind the counter.  The woman demanded that the clerk open the cash register and then lay on the floor.  The clerk complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of money, Cpl. Fournier said.

The suspect fled westbound through Bay Shore Plaza, according to Cpl. Fournier.

No one was injured in this incident. No weapon was implied or displayed.

State police describe the white female as being 25-35 years of age, 5-5 to 5-6 tall, weighing 115 to 130 pounds. The suspect was wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt, black dress, black shoes, and a scarf around her face at the time of the robbery.
