Drug investigation leads to arrest of Blades Man

BLADES – Delaware State Police arrested a Blades man Monday after a search warrant was conducted at his residence.

Members of the Delaware State Police Sussex County Drug Unit with the assistance of the Governor’s Task Force (GTF) and the State Police Special Operations Response Team (SORT) completed a two-month investigation in which a search warrant was executed on Monday, Nov. 2, 2015. It was learned that Junior Dorvilier, 26, of the 500 block of South Market Street, Blades, was selling cocaine and heroin from his residence.

The search revealed 515 bags of heroin with a total weight approximately 7.725 grams, approximately 15.0 grams of cocaine, approximately one gram marijuana, drug packing materials, heroin stamps, digital scale, hypodermic syringes, ninety rounds of .22 caliber ammunition, 32 rounds of .357 ammunition, .22 caliber magazine, and over $600 inĀ  drug proceeds, state police spokesman Sgt. Richard Bratz said.

Mr. Dorvilier is a convicted felon as a result of three prior felony convictions including most recently a 2011 conviction for possession with the intent to deliver narcotic schedule II.

Mr. Dorvilier charged with possession with the Intent to deliver heroin, possession Tier 5 heroin, possession with the intent to deliver cocaine, possession of Tier 3 cocaine, possession of ammunition by person prohibited and two counts of possession of drug Paraphernalia.
