DATE agents uncover unlawful manufacturing of ID cards

MILTON – An undercover operation by Delaware’s Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Enforcement resulted in the arrests of two persons, including a Milton man charged with unlawful manufacturing of identification cards.

DATE agents charged Pascual V. Perez-Domingo, 48, with unlawful manufacturing driver’s license/ID cards and possession of forgery devices.

Acting on a report that official-looking ID cards were being produced, DATE agents May 5 executed a search warrant at Mr. Perez-Domingo’s residence at 19490 Shady Rest Lane in Milton.

Several pieces of computer equipment and dozens of fictitious social security cards and official-looking fictitious identification cards from multiple states including Delaware, Ohio, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Texas, and California were seized.

These cards were reported to be of identical design to those being issued by the Delaware Department of Motor Vehicles.

Agents were successful in an undercover purchase of a Delaware ID and a social security card from Mr. Perez-Domingo in April.

In addition, Yolanda Perez-Lopez, 29, of Milton was charged with hindering prosecution when she attempted to conceal evidence that was recovered inside of the residence.  Mr. Perez-Domingo was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of $4,000 secured bail.

Ms. Perez-Lopez was released on a summons.
