Attempted bank robbery in Seaford

SEAFORD – A suspect is sought in an attempted robbery Thursday morning at the M & T Bank on Stein Highway.

At about 9 a.m., April 9, a white male approached a teller and demanded money, according to Seaford Police Department spokesman Lt. Richard Jamison.

Seaford city police are seeking this suspect in their investigation of an attempted robbery Thursday morning at M & T Bank on Stein Highway.

 

The suspect did not display a weapon and fled on foot after failing to receive any money.

The scene was processed by the Seaford Police Criminal Investigations Division and they are currently investigating the crime.
