VA Mobile Outreach Clinic at Legion Post 28 Aug. 10

MILLSBORO – The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ Mobile Outreach Clinic will be making a local stop Aug. 10 at American Legion Post 28.

Wednesday’s clinic will run from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Post 28 is located on Legion Road, just off Rt. 24 several miles east of the town of Millsboro.

Services Offered:

  • Primary care services including management of acute and chronic illnesses, women’s health issues, and patient education.
  • Immunizations (including flu and pneumonia vaccines); lab services (including blood draws, urine specimens, etc.)
  • A Medical Support Assistant (MSA) will be available to schedule appointments and answer administrative questions.
  • A social worker will be available for behavioral health referrals and identify available resources.

Veterans seeking care at the Mobile Outreach Clinic need to be enrolled with the VA to receive service.

Those who have not yet enrolled with the VA can do so at the mobile clinic to become eligible for service in the future. Veterans wishing to enroll should bring two forms of identification and their DD Form 214 (certificate of release or discharge from active duty military service).
