Month-long project impacts several roads near Millsboro

MILLSBORO – Delaware’s Department of Transportation announced this week that a pavement/rehabilitation project set to begin Friday, Nov. 20 will impact several roads near Millsboro for more than month.

The following locations will be impacted: SR 24/Laurel Road from Careys Camp Road to Route 30/Millsboro Highway;  SR 20/Hardscrabble Road from Cross Keys Road to U.S. Route 113.

The project, scheduled to be complete by the end of December, will consist of patching, milling, and warm mix overlay.

Intermittent lane and shoulder closures will occur from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Flaggers will be on site to direct motorists.

Access to all businesses and residences within the project limits will be maintained throughout the duration of this contract.

DelDOT urges motorists to drive with caution, slow down in work zones and expect delays.
