Georgetown: Night-time lane closures at U.S. 113 intersection

GEORGETOWN – The Department of Transportation’s Traffic Signal Construction Section in conjunction with Rommel Contracting are scheduled to perform maintenance work on the traffic signal at the intersection of U.S. 113 and Shortly Road/South Bedford Street in Georgetown.

Nighttime intermittent lane closures will occur at the intersection from 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14 until 5 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 15.

U.S. 113 northbound and southbound will be down to one lane in both directions;

Right turns only at Shortly Road/South Bedford Street and the right lane of U.S. Route 113.

Flaggers will be on-site to direct motorists through the intersection.
