This generous gift comes as Vet Build 2015 nears completion.

SCHFH dedicates a home for a deserving vet that is built by volunteers, AmeriCorps, and community partners in conjunction with other local veterans and military groups.  This year’s recipient, Oscar Gonzalez, a disabled combat veteran, has won the hearts of staffers and volunteers alike.

“We can’t wait to dedicate this home with Oscar and his family,” said Mr. Gundy. “And it’s generous gifts like this that make it possible. We so appreciate everyone who has contributed time, money, and materials to this year’s Vet Build.”
