GEORGETOWN – A final plan presentation in the Georgetown Walkability/Connectivity Study is on the agenda for the third public workshop Thursday, Sept. 20.
The last of three public meeting workshops will be held at the Georgetown Train Station from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Georgetown Train Station is located at 200 Depot Street in Georgetown.
Earlier this year, the town of Georgetown retained the Pennsylvania firm Simone Collins Landscape Architecture to complete the study on the town’s walkability and connectivity. It included an online survey.
The study and plan will serve to guide and support decision-making by the Georgetown town council on how to plan for sidewalk and bike route projects and support efforts to attract and secure funding for these improvements.
Previous public meeting workshops were held in April and June.
