Tonight’s Trolls movie in Frankford showing hinges on weather

FRANKFORD – Weather permitting, Envision Frankford tonight will present Trolls in its Movies in the Park series at Frankford Town Park.

If held, this will be the second of three open-air movie events this summer at the town park. The movies are free and open to the public.

Showtime is at dusk. Refreshments will be served.

As of noon Friday, Trolls was still a “go,” said Envision Frankford spokesman Robbie Murray.

However, due to a forecast that includes the potential for stormy weather and heavy rain moving into the area, Mr. Murray said the event could be cancelled. That decision will likely be made sometime this afternoon, he said.

Updated information on the status of tonight’s movie will be posted on the town of Frankford’s Facebook page as well as the Frankford Volunteer Fire Company’s electronic sign on Main Street, Mr. Murray said.

If cancelled, Trolls will not be rescheduled.

The last scheduled movie is Lego Batman, Friday, Aug. 25.
