Second round of ‘Battle of the Bartenders’ May 17 at Mulligan’s Pointe

GEORGETOWN – Another battle royale is brewing.

Thursday, May 17 is the date for the second round of Celebrity Battle of the Bartenders – a spirited, fun-filled fundraiser supporting the Greater Georgetown Chamber of Commerce.

Patrons are invited to Mulligan’s Pointe (formerly Sussex Pines Country Club) near Georgetown to root on their favorite bartender. The fundraiser will run from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Celebrities behind the bar include: Zoe “The Craft Beer Crusher” Seavey; Ali “The Money Maker” Peet; Bill “Mayor Saucy” West; Todd “The Shot Dude” Lawson; and Tony “Boss with the Hot Sauce” DelFranco.

Celebrity bartenders will be competing to see who can bring in the most tips and take home of the crown of “Champion Bartender.”

All proceeds benefit the Greater Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and its members.

The chamber’s first Celebrity Battle of the Bartenders fundraiser was held last September at JD Shuckers in Georgetown and was hailed a huge success.
