Museum Day: Free admission Sept. 26 to Treasures of the Sea at Del Tech

GEORGETOWN – Admission to the Treasures of the Sea exhibit in the Stephen J. Betze Library on the Owens Campus of Delaware Technical Community College is free on Saturday, Sept. 26 as part of the Smithsonian Magazine’s 11th annual Museum Day Live.

Museum Day Live! is an annual event hosted by Smithsonian Magazine in which participating museums across the country offer free admission to anyone presenting a Museum Day Live! ticket.

The Treasures of the Sea exhibit features treasures recovered from the Spanish galleon Nuestra Senora de Atocha. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Parking is available next to the library building.

To get your free ticket for two free admissions, visit Smithsonian.com/museumday. The Treasures of the Sea will accept both printed and digital tickets.
