SCHS senior Cole Haden as Oberon and senior Emily Ritter as Moonbeam.

“Midsummer/Jersey” is the story of Shakespeare’s embattled lovers from “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” crossed with the over-tanned, over-muscled Jersey Shore set.

The show will be presented on Thursday, April 23 and Friday, April 24 at 7 p.m. at the Centre for Visual and Performing Arts at Sussex Central High School, located at 26026 Patriots Way in Georgetown, Delaware.

General admission is $8 at the door. Students, seniors and military pay $5. SCHS freshman students with ID are admitted on a special two-for-one ticket for $5.

No one will be turned away for inability to pay. Tickets go on sale at the door starting at 6 p.m.

All proceeds from ticket sales go directly to the nonprofit Take Two Drama Club to support the production of future shows. For school groups and group sales, contact David Warick at 934-3166.

Concessions will be available during intermission. Media interested in learning more about this production are encouraged to contact Mr. Warick.
