Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Nanticoke Dinner/Auction a ‘Knight’ to remember

Nanticoke Health Services' 29th Annual Dinner & Auction event will be held April 4 at Heritage Shores in Bridgeville.

Nanticoke Health Services’ 29th Annual Dinner & Auction event will be held April 4 at Heritage Shores in Bridgeville.

BRIDGEVILLE – Calls of “Hear ye! Hear ye!” will echo through the Heritage Shores Club castle April 4 at Nanticoke Health Services Dinner and Auction presentation entitled “Medieval Knights…a Renaissance Evening.”

While being transported back to medieval times, attendees will join the kings and queens, knights and nobles for an even of festivals and feasts. Honored guests will have the opportunity to bid on items in the live and silent auction.

Proceeds from the “Medieval Knights…a Renaissance Evening” will benefit Nanticoke’s Emergency Department Renovation Project.

Nanticoke Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department is the busiest and most utilized department at Nanticoke with over 39,000 visits in 2014.

Nanticoke’s Emergency Department – fully equipped to handle a broad scope of emergency medical conditions – is a Level III Trauma Center and has been a partner of Delaware’ statewide trauma system for over 10 years.

To meet the increasing needs of the community a renovation is needed to enhance the internal components of the Emergency Department.  The plan calls for an expansion and complete reconfiguration of the department.  This project will help modernize and expand the department to improve patient outcomes and experiences, and will enable Nanticoke Health Services to surpass today’s standards of care, and to significantly improve the patient experience.

Nanticoke will be able to serve patients faster and more efficiently, and accommodate anticipated growth in patient volume in the immediate future.

This year’s dinner and auction event is co-chaired by Lois Hartstein and Ashlee Parker.

Businesses and individuals can support the dinner auction through sponsorship and/or donating items for the auction.

Sponsorship packages and additional information is available by contacting the Nanticoke Health Services Foundation at 536-5393 or fioric@nanticoke.org.

Tickets are available for $100 per person.

This will be Nanticoke’s 29th Annual Dinner Auction.
