Georgetown chamber partnering with Mulligan’s Pointe for Easter Egg Hunt extravaganza

GEORGETOWN – The Greater Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Mulligan’s Pointe, will hold the highly-popular annual Easter Egg Hunt for its 18th year.

The Greater Georgetown Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Mulligan’s Pointe to stage the annual Easter Egg Hunt event on March 24.

Scheduled Saturday, March 24, the family-friendly event will be held at Mulligan’s Pointe (formerly known as Sussex Pines Country Club), located at 22426 Sussex Pines Road, Georgetown.

It will feature games, face painting, a moon bounce and more than 5,000 eggs filled with candy and special prizes.

The cost for entry to all games, face painting, moon bounce and more will be $5 per child.

The Easter Egg Hunt is free, with three age divisions: ages 3- 5; 6-9; and 10-12. The egg hunt will begin promptly at noon. Children and parents are reminded your own basket.

This year’s event will feature a new addition: a “Breakfast with the Bunny” – a buffet breakfast from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with the Easter Bunny available for pictures. The breakfast cost is $9.99 for adults, $4.99 for children ages 3-10, and children 2 and under will be free.

Reservations are highly encouraged and can be made by calling 856-2318 or emailing

Back by popular demand, the Georgetown chamber will once again hold a coloring contest for children ages 3-10 with prizes for first, second and third place going to children across four different age groups.

The contest page will be presented in the Sussex Post in the weeks leading up to the event with additional details attached.

“Everyone here at the chamber, along with numerous volunteers, and the amazing staff and management at Mulligan’s Pointe have been working extremely hard to create another memorable event for 2018,” said Kevin Thompson, director of operations for the Greater Georgetown Chamber of Commerce. “We couldn’t do it without the help of our volunteers and we are delighted to have Mulligan’s Pointe come on board as a partner. I want to personally invite everyone to Georgetown on March 24 for a fun-filled day of egg hunting, games, and more.”
