Fun activities, safety education at Sussex Safe Kids Day June 16

LEWES – Fun for everyone – especially children – is in the offing at the 11th Annual Sussex Safe Kids Day, Saturday, June 16 at Lowe’s in Lewes.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. rain or shine, featuring fire trucks, police cars, ambulances, paramedic trucks, helicopters, representatives from area hospitals, vendors providing safety/injury prevention education and much more.

“The event is a great fun-filled family day where kids can learn in a safe environment and learn about safety and safe habits,” said Sussex County paramedic James Lombardo.

Also, there will also be activities for the kids, including face painting, a bounce house, music and countless other fun things.
