Famed author Litwin visiting two libraries in Sussex

SEAFORD – Best-selling and award-winning author Eric Litwin will visit libraries in Seaford and Lewes Friday, June 29.

Mr. Litwin is a song singing, guitar strumming, No. 1 New York Times Best Selling author who brings early literacy and music together. He is the original author of the Pete the Cat series as well as the author of The Nuts and Groovy Joe.

Mr. Litwin’s books have sold over 11.5 million copies, been translated into 17 languages, and won 25 literacy awards including a Theodor Geisel Seuss Honor Award.

On June 29, he will perform original songs and readings at the Seaford Public Library at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., followed by afternoon performances at the Lewes Public Library at 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Tickets are free and available to be picked up at your local library.

Due to limited tickets, Sussex County Department of libraries will be live streaming all four performances on their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/sussexcolibraries/).

Libraries will also be broadcasting the performances at the following locations: Georgetown Public Library at 10:30 a.m., Laurel Public Library 2 p.m., Lewes Public Library 2:00 p.m., Rehoboth Public Library at 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. and Milford Public Library at 3:30 p.m.
