Delaware SeaSide Railroad Club Spring Fling May 5 at Roxana fire station

ROXANA – Delaware SeaSide Railroad Club will present its Spring Fling this Saturday, May 5 at the Roxana Volunteer Fire Company Station 90 firehouse.

The show, which runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature various scale model train layouts of the club and members and a variety of vendors.

Admission is $5; children 10 and under are free.

In addition to operating layouts, there will be door prizes.

Refreshments will be available for purchase.

Roxana Volunteer Fire Company is located at 35943 Zion Church Road (SR 20) east of Frankford.

The Delaware SeaSide Railroad Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Its mission is to preserve and promote the history and hobby of model railroading.

Club activities include:

  • School projects – teaching school children how to design and build a model railroad;
  • Annual train shows in Roxana, May and September;
  • Monthly meetings and newsletters;
  • Operating modular trains in O-gauge, S-gauge, G-gauge and H.O.-gauge at various venues around the area;
  • Community workshops; community displays.
