Del Tech offering free admission to Treasures of the Sea Exhibit May 18

GEORGETOWN – Delaware Technical Community College will celebrate the International Museum Day Live! Friday, May 18 with free admission to the Treasures of the Sea exhibit in the Stephen J. Betze Library on the Owens Campus in Georgetown.

Museum Day Live! is an event hosted by Smithsonian Magazine in which participating museums across the country offer free admission for two to anyone presenting a Museum Day Live! ticket.

The Treasures of the Sea exhibit features treasures recovered from the Spanish galleon Nuestra Senora de Atocha. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Parking is available next to the library building.

To get free ticket for two free admissions, visit Smithsonianmag.com/museumday. The Treasures of the Sea will accept both printed and digital tickets.
