Attractions abound this Saturday at CHEER Car, Truck & Bike Show

GEORGETOWN – CHEER’s 7th Annual Classic Car, Truck and Bike Show is this Saturday, Aug. 5 at the CHEER Community Center on Sand Hill Road in Georgetown.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

It will feature approximately 100 vehicles including Mustangs, Jaguars, Corvettes, Ferraris, Thunderbirds, Porsche and many others. There will also be hobby displays, a silent auction and a live auction, a 50/50 and much more.

This year’s show celebrates “The History of the Ford” featuring a 1927 Model T.

The public is invited to enjoy this free, day-long event. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

A Gourmet Champagne Bunch – tickets are $25 each and available at the door – will feature over 64 feet of food including prime rib, crab dip, carved ham, steamed shrimp, breakfast items and more. Gourmet desserts will also be included.

Raffle tickets are on sale for a chance to win a battery-operated replica of an original 1967 Shelby 6T500 Mustang. Tickets to win little “Shelby” are tickets are $5 each or five for $20. It will be given away at the end of the day. The winner does not have to be present.

Vehicle registration is $25 per vehicle or $50 which includes two brunch tickets. To register call Florence Mason at 515-3045 or Walt Koopman at 945-7122.

All proceeds from these events will support the CHEER Nutrition Program and Meals on Wheels.
